Run For Your Lives! 2015 Overview
Run For Your Lives returns to St. Charles this year, and we hope you are ready for a serious case of the spooks! Tri To Finish is excited to welcome back our friendly neighborhood ghosts and goblins from the St. Charles Village of the Living Dead Haunted House to provide a Halloween touch to this fast, flat course. These monsters can be pretty scary, so this year we’ve added a new, un-timed race for our runners who may be a little faint of heart.
The Run For Your Lives consists of USATF Sanctioned 5k races that originated as a fundraiser for the St. Charles High School Cross Country team. This year, proceeds will benefit St. Charles High School Track and Field. The “Spook-Free” 5k will begin at 2:30pm, with the “Spooky” run to follow at 4:30pm. Both events are run/walk friendly, and costumes are encouraged! All ages are welcome, so bring the whole family out to this fun, festive event.
A big “thank you” goes out to our title sponsor and co-organizer C.M. Humpula Funeral Home, who will be providing post-race refreshments and awards. Homemade treats and unique awards have been a hit in the past, and we plan to keep it that way!
All proceeds from this event will benefit the St. Charles Community High School track and field team.
